i2CAT is looking for a Competitive Project Manager with experience on the management of public projects of the Next _Generation and Europeus calls (Horizon Europe).

 

The candidate will work in the project management office (PMO). This office is dedicated to giving support to the research areas in the administrative, financial and legal management of the projects. Consequently, the main functions of the candidate will be:

  • Administrative and financial management of Projectes Next Generation and Horizon Europe.
  • Review and presentation of documentation in internal and external audits.
  • Follow-up of the internal execution of the projects: elaboration of minutes, follow-up of the action points, etc.
  • Follow-up of the degree of execution of the partners of the projects.
  • Follow-up of press reports and KPIs of a portfolio of projects with designated PIs.

Where will you do it?

At i2CAT we already have an established ‘work-from-home’ policy for some time. You can work from home or from the office, whichever suits you best. We expect that you attend the office two days per week: one to stay connected with your team and another one to engage with other colleagues

If you decide to come to the office, we are located in Zona Universitària, next to the Campus Nord of the UPC, within a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. It is a very well-connected area (metro, tram, bus) with bars and restaurants around.

Our offices are designed with an open-office concept where everything is light and transparency. We have a variety of workspaces so that you don't have to be at the same table all day.

Requisitos

Requisits mínims:

  • University degree.
  • English, written and spoken.
  • Catalan and Spanish (native)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of European regulations, HE, FEDER and NXTG.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial administrative management of competitive projects, preferably in the ICT sector. Experience in projects co-financed with FEDER, Ris3, H2020, MINECO...
  • Mastery of the Office package.

Requisits desitjables:

  • Complementary training in Project Management (Master's or postgraduate)
  • Background in Engineering in telecommunications or similar
  • ERP: Fundanet /SAP.
  • Experience in project communication and dissemination.
