Our Software Engineering Group is seeking a QA ENGINEER for all the software development projects of different sectors where we are implied.

The sucessful candidate will work in a diverse team with different roles of software development lifecycle, using cutting-edge technologies.

The selected candidate will be responsible for all around quality assurance tasks in all projects where the SEG group is involved: 

  • Test automation
  • Functional tests development and maintenance
  • QA infrastructure deployment and maintenance
  • Quality documentation
  • Best practices enforcement around quality in software projects

 

Who we are:

i2CAT Foundation is a non-profit research and innovation centre that promotes mission oriented R&D activities on advanced Internet architectures, applications and services. The centre stands for a new open innovation framework, fostering the collaboration between companies, public administration, the academic environment and end-users.

i2CAT’s activities span the areas of Research, playing a key role in the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation; Strategic Projects, leading local initiatives that strengthen the digital policies of public administration, and Technology Transfer, fostering R&D collaboration with companies to develop innovative market-oriented solutions.

Requisitos

Minimum requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in QA tasks
  • Knowledge with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience with CI/CD best practices
  • Experience with git as VCS
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience reading and writing technical documentation
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Working in teams
  • Experience assuring QA in different software development projects at the same time

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in software development
  • Experience with test case management software like Gurock TestRail
  • Experience working with device farms like Kobiton, Sauce Labs or AWS Device Farm
