Our Knowledge and Technology Marketing department is looking for a Technology Product Manager to join our team.
As a Tech Product Manager you'll be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for the go-to-market of R&D results, as technology assets. In the science industry, this activity is known as research valorization and this job position is known as Tech Transfer.
i2CAT research areas generate research results that should become technology assets (software libraries, SDK, algorithms and other intellectual property rights) that need to be transferred to existing ICT companies or spin-offs via licensing or joint-venture agreements, who will take over the responsibility to exploit the technology in form of product and/or services. On the other side, i2CAT needs to identify new technical challenges that could be the seed for existing or new research lines or projects, in order to create a better market fit of our research.
You'll be in charge of taking a customer-first approach to technology development, interviewing and understanding technical challenges, market requirements and opportunities, testing concepts and contributing to the technology roadmap by creating consensus internally and with key external partners (industry not academy).
The main tasks are:
Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Self-learning attitude and autonomy.
