Job Description 

You will be part of one of our game teams and will be collaborating with more unity developers, engineers, artists and product owners to build game features and solve creative problems. 

You will ensure that art assets are easily integrated into apps built with Unity, while creating and maintaining the artistic vision, maximising performance and navigating the various technical limits of the chosen platform. 

What will you do

  • Work directly with the product owner and UI artists to create an optimized and beautiful UI and visual effects in Unity.
  • Work directly with the Art Director to create the UI and character animations.
  • Work closely with the game artists to liaise between artists and programmers.
  • Lead the resolution of technical issues that may arise from other programs when working in Unity.
  • Anticipate artists' needs and create user-friendly tools for artists in Unity.
  • Give feedback and suggestions on the way things are done. Create new, more fun and beautiful dynamics.
  • Seek open feedback that will make you grow as a professional.
  • Document and update your work 

 

You will work with: 

  • Moritz Wundke.  The Unity Chapter Lead, ask him anything.
  • Miguel Paniagua. Code Wizard for Loco Bingo, like Gandalf but better.
  • Adolfo Zarrias. Loco Bingo Gameplay and UI coding is his thing.
  • Marc Puig. He’s the product lead of Loco Bingo. Born to help you!
  • Iker López. Backend developer, he works in the shadows but his work shine for all of us 
  • Joshua Aguilar. Bug hunter and game designer. No feature escapes him.
  • Juan Fco Gómez. A true artist, he draws, models and creates life.

  •  Working remote or in Palma. Up to you!

Requirements

Specific requirements

 

  • Expert experience in Unity.
  • Expert using visual effects within Unity.
  • Experience in character animation in general.
  • Experience in setting up UI in Unity.
  • Expert knowledge of how canvas works.
  • Experience with 2D Unity animation packages for character animation.
  • Knowledge C#.
  • Experience developing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Ability to create and modify existing tools, scripts, or assets for mobile.
  • A mind for both artistic and technical workflows.
  • Strong ability to make critical artistic and process decisions to produce the best quality product quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to provide detailed information on status of game production, builds and specific deliverables.
