The selected candidate will be working in the TDA5G project funded by the Catalan government, which has two main goals: First, validate wireless giagabit technologies that can be used to support the deployment of 5G networks in areas where fiber is not available. Second, define and validate a public-private 5G deployment model that enables operators to foster the deployment of 5G networks in rural areas.
