We are the leading InSAR provider worldwide. TRE was founded in 2000, is part of the CLS Group and has offices in Milan (Italy), Vancouver (Canada), and Barcelona (Spain). Our growing Italian office is providing support to the business.

We are a multidisciplinary team with leading-edge knowledge of SAR and InSAR applications. Our patented radar imagery processing algorithms provide displacement measurements and operational mapping solutions that are used worldwide in a variety of sectors, including mining, civil engineering, oil & gas, and geohazards.

We are adding a Processing Operator to our team in Barcelona or Milan. If you have a degree in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering you can be eligible for this position.

What you will be doing
Main activities

• Process and analyze satellite Radar images with proprietary software (SqueeSAR).
• Identify best processing strategies for each project, taking into account all factors that
could affect the results.
• Liaising with the Customer Support team to create deliverables that respect the Company
quality standards.
• Explore and suggest new techniques to improve products.
• Support Sales department providing technical consultancy.
• Define and improve the best practice of InSAR technology.
• Collaborate with our internal MATLAB development team to improve tools, introduce
methodologies and develop new functionalities

Candidate Profile
Required experience and skills

• Advanced knowledge of MATLAB software
• Advanced level of English (speaking and writing)
• Excellent ability to work in a team
• Proactive attitude and excellent capability in problem solving
• Strong motivation and enthusiasm
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• 7 years maximum experience.

Qualification
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Engineering (including an exam in signal processing)

The following skills are an asset• Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision;
• Python/MATLAB coding for automatization of geospatial tools;
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills being flexible and adaptable to changing
demands and priorities;
• Excellent technical report writing, presentation and communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects while sticking to hard deadlines;
• Ability to form strong professional relationships within a small diverse team;
• Demonstrated ability to use creative thinking to solve problems and find new solutions;
• Ability to positively interact with clients, understand their needs, and solve their
problems quickly and effectively.
