The candidate will be part of the Electronics Section in the Computing Division.
• Upgrade and maintenance of the control hardware and instrumentation of the particle
accelerators and Beamlines.
• Electronics and instrumentation support of Experimental stations, Accelerators and
controls and data acquisition systems in general.
Qualifications:
• University degree in electronics engineering, physics or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of electronics instrumentation.
• PCB circuit design (Altium Designer preferably).
• Knowledge of X-Ray detectors principles and characterization will be considered as an asset.
• Knowledge of FPGA programming VHDL will be considered as an asset.
• Previous experience in a particle accelerator facility or R+D electronics department will be
an asset.
• Stepper motor controllers.
• Good team player.
• The working language is English.
