Job description

i2cat Foundation is seeking for a Scrum Master to join the Software Engineering Group to execute the role of agile coach and collaborate with the rest of the areas.

Main responsibilities of the position will be:

  • Maintain and improve agile methodologies among the team and the organization
  • Assist during the functional requirements gathering
  • Communicate directly with other areas of the organization, including business and project management
  • Help the team in the day by day challenges
  • Help during proposal, effort estimation and planning project phases
  • Assist in the resource allocation and the planning of the team
  • Enforce changes in the team to improve results and performance
  • Facilitate the decision-making inside the team

The succesful candidate will work in an already existing team, together with an international partnership.

Requirements

Minimum requeriments:

  • Scrum Master certification
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban at least)
  • +2 years of experience as Scrum Master
  • Coaching and communication skills
  • Functional requirements gathering capacities
  • Professional spoken and written English
  • Comfortable in multicultural environments

Desired requeriments:

  • Experience as developer in software teams
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA / Confluence
  • Organized and analytical person
