Job description


You will be part of the QA chapter. You will work in a development environment with other chapters to ensure product quality and consistency. You will help us to: 

  • Develop and maintain our automation framework.
  • Check test results and metrics working closely with Quality Assurance roles and other chapters
  • Setting and managing testing environments.
  • Maintain and update documentation.

 

What to do: 

  • Design test specifications through user stories
  • Test user features as part of sprint activities
  • Use bug tracking tools to report bugs (JIRA if possible)
  • Analyse test results and report them
  • Be hands on in writing, executing and monitoring automated tests
  • Build tools to support development and business functions
  • Develops internal testing tools (framework) to improve testing quality systems
  • Raise an alert when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance roles and other chapters to ensure quality products with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team
  • Design test cases to ensure both new and previous features

 

 

Requirements

Specific requirements 

 

  • Computer Engineering degree or similar
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in Software QA
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming languages like Java
  • Proficiency developing UI Automation Frameworks from scratch using industry best practices (Selenium, Appium)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience on testing web platforms and microservice architecture

 

Ideal candidate should also have the following qualities and skills:

  • Must be performance driven, detail, and results oriented
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies and practices
  • Ability to solve difficult problems with innovative and maintainable solution
  • Must be detail oriented and strive for product excellence
  • Work closely with all parties involved in the development cycle, while maintaining a positive relationship that demands respect for quality
  • Familiar with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, cross browser compatibility
  • Familiar with SQL
  • Familiar with GIT source control
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
  • Hands on with "can do" attitude
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs is a plus
  • Experience with AWS, docker is a plus
  • Good level of English
